Here's what I saw using the latest kernel (3.9.0-030900rc3-generic): If I did not suspend while using the computer, it shut down normally.
If I suspended, then shut down, the computer never powered off. It hung at the screen that has the Ubuntu logo and the white/orange dots. I waited several minutes. Finally I held down the power button to turn the computer off, and then it turned on one time by itself. ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Confirmed ** Tags added: kernel-bug-exists-upstream -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1157909 Title: Thinkpad T430u reboots twice after suspend then shutdown To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1157909/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
