I'm tagging this with regression-release, but the only last-working version I can give is the precise version.
Info that I have: * suspend was working fine with Precise (the OS the machine was purchased with) and there are no updates at http://asus.archive.canonical.com/updates/dists/precise-annan/public/binary-amd64/, * suspend would work mostly with Quantal (seemed to stop suspending after 4-5 suspends - it was for this reason I tried upgrading to raring) * suspend doesn't work at all (for me) in raring as per above. I also deleted everything via terminal in /usr/lib/pm-utils/sleep.d/ and /etc/pm/sleep.d/ without any success [nor effect]. It would be great if this bug could be fixed before 13.04 comes officially out, as the Asus X201E is preinstalled with Ubuntu 12.04 LTS and I guess a lot of users will want to upgrade their OS.
