Hey everyone. I recently bricked my NP300E5C-A01UB trying to boot into
Ubuntu with UEFI enabled. After locating the correct chip on the
motherboard, my friend connected his bus pirate to it and we were able
to dump the firmware and go through it. I have posted these logs and the
dump of the borked firmware to GitHub
https://github.com/rimunroe/SamsungUEFI. We recovered the kernel panic
log from the dump, and I have posted it as well.

On a side note: if anyone can provide us with a copy of the original (or
any somewhat working) firmware for the NP300E5C-A01UB, I would be most
appreciative. Samsung doesn't provide firmware images directly on their
website, and so far their support hasn't been very helpful. Let me know
if anyone has any questions.
