Hmm mine doesn't seem to be going crazy. While opening, typing, then
closing the dash over and over again I can get it to spike at:

             54.8 ms/s     148.3        Process        compiz --replace
ccp

but this isn't idle. When I leave everything alone for ~30 seconds it
goes back to this.

              1.2 ms/s       3.3        Process        compiz --replace
ccp

So Im not seeing it getting stuck into a loops. Anyone else want to give
this a test out?
