I also have the Lenovo Ideacentre Q190 and I am also running Ubuntu 12.10 Secure Remix. I also cannot use the RTL8188E WIFI chip on my Lenovo Q190. However, I am able to connet to my router by using the RJ45 network jack. Please include me in any updates. Also, I can provide diagnostic logs .
