This bug also affects me. I updated when the kernel was first released into the update manager, it caused a crash within less than 30 seconds of rebooting. Fortunately I had recently cloned the entire partition and was able to restore. Today I tried again (around 2 weeks later) and got exactly the same result, crash within 30 seconds, only firefox browser application running and being used.
