I've a T60p, model 2007-AD1, SMP [core duo] ("2.6.20-16-generic #2 SMP Thu Jun
7 20:19:32 UTC 2007 i686 GNU/Linux").
I just upgraded to Feisty yesterday from Edgy, had not seen this error
before.
This is causing random freeze-ups, 'hardware pauses', that make me wait
- and the kernel logs are indeed filling up /var/log. I do not have
qemu or kqemu in use on this machine. I am running vmware server
v1.0.3.....and after exiting it, I've had none of these errors (in the
last 10 minutes, anyway). Does vmware server, or any of the virtualized
devices, use kqemu???
If we really need to have everyone rebuild their 2.6.20-16 kernel,
better get the word out :-)
