I'm quite convinced this issue is not anything in Deja Dup, so I'm
setting that bug invalid.

I'm still not really sure what the real issue is.  I've done quite a bit
of experimentation and still unable to pin this on duplicity, ssl, or
even the Ubuntu One server.  I have gathered a Wireshark trace and I'm
trying to sift through the capture to see if gives any clues on what
this may be.
