Public bug reported: Kubuntu currently has customized fonts, in particular, the "Ubuntu" font. If you change the fonts to something else by going to System Settings > Application Appearance > Fonts, the "Defaults" button will not change the fonts back to the Kubuntu default. Instead, it changes the fonts back to the KDE defaults.
If you change the fonts to something else, there is no way to return to the Kubuntu defaults for the fonts unless you write down the settings before changing the fonts and change them back manually. Recommended solution: Change the "Defaults" button on the font settings section of System Settings to restore the font settings that Kubuntu ships with, instead of defaulting to KDE's defaults which do not match what Kubuntu ships with. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1170330 Title: Kubuntu Font Settings "Defaults" Button Does Not Restore Defaults To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1170330/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
