I've been testing Ubuntu 13.04 with an AMD Radeon HD 6670 graphics card
attached to a big screen TV via HDMI. Until very recently (within the
last week or so), adding "radeon.audio=1" to my GRUB boot options had
allowed HDMI audio to work flawlessly.

But after a recent update to Ubuntu 13.04, the above mentioned
workaround (adding "radeon.audio=1" to my GRUB boot options) no longer
works. In fact, after the update, HDMI audio can't even be seen as an
audio output option any longer.

What's changed in the last week or so?
