I'm using Ubuntu 12.10 and Firefox 20.0 and I think I have the same problem:
When I login on Outlook2010 Webmail, the browser greys out for some time, then gets back to normal for some seconds and greys out again and so on. It is not possible to do anything but close and reopen firefox.
