Public bug reported:

When plugging Asus N10 USB wireless adapter (Bus 002 Device 005: ID
0b05:1786 ASUSTek Computer, Inc. USB-N10 802.11n Network Adapter
[Realtek RTL8188SU]) I get error messages in dmesg (for Ubuntu 12.10):

 327.091404] usb 2-1.1.4: new low-speed USB device number 9 using ehci_hcd
[ 327.179487] usb 2-1.1.4: device descriptor read/64, error -32

[ 328.939499] hub 2-1.1:1.0: unable to enumerate USB device on port 4

And the wifi card doesn't work (something related to power
consumption?). It also doesn't work when plugged to powered USB hub. One
time when unplugged (from laptop USB port) it crashed the system to
something like a kernel stacktrace.

It does work on todays 13.04 Xubuntu daily ISO (but it seems like it's
noticed by system when it's the only USB device connected. I can connect
radio adapters for mouse/keyboard after it and it worked. With those two
connected on start - it did not). It also works on Windows on a
different PC.
