Hello, yesterday I upgraded to raring from quantal and I have a problem that seems to be this one. Basically, every time I start synaptic it freezes after a while, usually leaving me just enough time to check a few packages. Sometimes it froze before letting me select everything I wanted, sometimes after selecting and clicking "apply" (while the confirmation window was open), and sometimes after I successfully installed/removed a very small number of packages.
The strangest thing is that I used synaptic immediately after upgrading, and it did NOT freeze. I don't know if the current problem is caused by some update, or if I've been lucky the first time. Any suggestions?
