Public bug reported:

Please sync pep8 1.4.4-1 (main) from Debian unstable (main)

Explanation of the Ubuntu delta and why it can be dropped:

The only Ubuntu delta was the release of newer upstream version
1.3.3 directly into Ubuntu (1.3.3-0ubuntu1). I believe the jump
in Ubuntu was to satisfy min. version of dependencies for Openstack
before newer version was available in Debian. Debian has since caught
up with a new upstream release (1.4.4) in unstable. This can/should
supercede the Ubuntu package and satisfy those openstack packages
that Build-Depend on pep8.

Changelog entries since current saucy version 1.3.3-0ubuntu1:

pep8 (1.4.4-1) unstable; urgency=low

  * New upstream release. (Closes: #694443)
