[ 1.426282] fbcon: inteldrmfb (fb0) is primary device [ 1.792759] [drm] Enabling RC6 states: RC6 on, RC6p on, RC6pp off [ 1.922773] i915 0000:00:02.0: fb0: inteldrmfb frame buffer device [ 1.923393] [drm] Initialized i915 1.6.0 20080730 for 0000:00:02.0 on minor 0 So all looks good from my perspective. One other item worth mentioning is that i dual boot win7 / ubuntu and that win7 did not show stability problems with the old F12 bios. but: as mentioned above for me problem is solved now...
