I recently tried booting my media centre Ubuntu PC with a live 13.04 disk (updated to release .19 of the Ubuntu 13.04 kernel). My DAC worked flawlessly. Yet the installed version doesn't work. What debugging steps can I do that may help work out why this is? (yesterday I moved to the .20 kernel in raring-proposed which finally fixes the bug stopping HDMI audio from working, but the DAC is still unusable).
