I think this is related to cups-pdf trying to change the ownership of ~/PDF or the directory set in /etc/cups/cups-pdf.conf, but fails because it's a link. Just use a function which ignores links whose ownerships can't be set. This problem persists in 2.6.1-8 on Ubtunu 13.04. Thanks in advance for taking care about this.
