Additionally, the computer will no longer shutdown or reboot, clicking either one causes the computer to log out, but not shutdown. Attempting to shutdown or reboot from the login screen locks the computer and after waiting several minutes, it never rebooted or shutdown. Not sure if or how this might be related to the mic issue, but it is new since the updates today...
