I suspect it is an instance of this bug: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=639777
I'm hitting this as well, with gvfsd-http eventually consuming almost 1 GB of memory on my system, so it's an important bug for me. Similar to what the Totem user in the Gnome bug report is seeing, this is triggered on my system by opening http audio streams in Rhythmbox 2.98. After that, and even if the stream or Rhythmbox itself is closed, memory usage continues to creep up. ** Bug watch added: GNOME Bug Tracker #639777 https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=639777 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1158529 Title: gvfsd-http memory leaks To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gvfs/+bug/1158529/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
