I've already tried this procedure. It doesn't cause hanging on whole
Ubuntu, it even doesn't causes TexMaker to hang - it is still fully
functional except for that progress icon keeps turning and TexMaker uses
100% of one CPU core. This state persist, possibly forever, I killed
TexMaker process after more than 10 minutes of hanging.
