Public bug reported: left clicking the applet should drop-down a list of connections, however i get a pop-up menu titled "connection properties: eth0" (see scrrenshot)
right clicking the applet should give me a list of option in which are included: "Enable connections", "Enable Wireless connections", etc. However, all i get is the gnome panel options -- Properties ; Help ; About ; etc. --. ( screenshot not available ) the About option says the applet is: Network Monitor 2.28.0 by Sun Microsystems. I remember it used to say it was NetworkManager Applet 0.8 by RedHat... i have network-manager and network-manager-gnome installed. how can i get that applet back, any ideas please. i have exhausted the google search. ** Affects: network-manager-applet (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: network-manager network-manager-gnome nm-applet ** Attachment added: "left-click.png" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1181330/+attachment/3679659/+files/left-click.png -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1181330 Title: network-manager-gnome applet doesn't show options To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/network-manager-applet/+bug/1181330/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
