Hi Steve, The 30_os-prober and 30_uefi-firmware are the same as from the stock grub2 install. Boot-Repair only adds the 25_custom entries.
The subject of this bug is that in step 2 (when SecureBoot enabled) of this bug, the stock grub2 entries (30_os-prober and 30_uefi-firmware ) don't allow to boot Windows. IMHO, this is not duplicate of bug #807801 , because: - in #1183074 , the stock grub2 Windows entries exist, but fail only when SecureBoot enabled - in #807801 , the entries fail (or don't exist) even when SecureBoot is disabled. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1183074 Title: GRUB fails to boot Windows when SecureBoot enabled To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/grub2/+bug/1183074/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
