Public bug reported:

flash video was unwatchable slow on my eeePC (which uses integrated video RAM),
especially when used on a external monitor/projektor with higher resolution.
regular video using VLC or mplayer did not have this problem.
this seems to be because of insufficient video RAM, creating an xorg.conf and
setting VideoRam to 65536 solved the problem.
something around 20 mb is the default according to intel(4), which apparently
is not enough. I can only speculate that flash uses some kind of unaccelerated
fallback code when it can't allocate enough video RAM.

the web is full of "why is flash so slow on linux?" posts, with barely
any solutions, so you might wanna consider increasing the default.

** Affects: xserver-xorg-video-intel (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
