*bump* This annoying bug still exists in Ubuntu 13.04 ! For me it happens only when I log into another machine via ssh and start byobu there. After hide/restore of tilda, the session is gone. Another weird thing: On my other Ubuntu 13.04 system, tilda works without issues. Could it be related to the graphics hardware (which is one of the major differences of the two machines). It works on the radeon (opensource driver) machine, but fails on the nvidia (proprietary driver) machine.
