** Summary changed:

- 4 new dbus-daemon processes are launched each time I open my laptop's lid
+ 2 new dbus-daemon processes are launched each time I connect or disconnect
the network

** Description changed:

I have noticed that I have a huge number of dbus-daemon and dconf-
service processes running in my Ubuntu 13.04 laptop. Sometimes over 100
  processes each.

- Today I noticed that every time I open the lid of my laptop, 4 new
dbus-daemon and 4 new dconf-service processes are launched.
+ Today I noticed that every time I connect or disconnect the network, 2 new
dbus-daemon and 2 new dconf-service processes are launched. If I kill them,
there are no side effects and they are not relaunched.
  My laptop is Lenovo W530.
