Could you please elaborate what you did (installing, upgrading, purging and other details)? As far as I can tell all ucf calls in cacti.postinst (Cacti version 0.8.7i-2) are using --debconf-ok. You triggered me to find this bug in my latest changes (0.8.8a+dfsg-6) but that is not (normally) available in Ubuntu 12.04. Please execute the following command, as it will automatically gather debugging information, in a terminal: apport-collect 1183637 When reporting bugs in the future please use apport by using 'ubuntu-bug' and the name of the package affected.
