Same problem with Acer Aspire 4820TG laptop (dual intel + radeon graphics) on Ubuntu 13.04 with ppa:gnome3-team/gnome3 and gdm/gnome- shell as desktop manager/shell. I am using
$ echo OFF | sudo tee /sys/kernel/debug/vgaswitcheroo/switch to reduce power usage. Suspend command works fine, but resume takes a few minutes (and system is not responsive to any keyboard or mouse activity). Looking at dmesg after I can see a bunch of lines with: ...
