Public bug reported: Hi
Having happily used powernap with various version of 32bit Ubuntu I thought I'd try 64 bit Ubuntu. Unfortunately Powernap seems to be having problems. I've installed/reinstalled etc but the issue is still the same; no Powernap. After a cold boot the Powernap service isn't running. And when I manually try to start it it seems to start: rory@xxx:/etc/powernap$ sudo service powernap start powernap stop/pre-start, process 2700 But when I look the service has gone. There is no content created in powernap.log or powernap.err. Help please. ** Affects: powernap (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1186679 Title: Powernap Service won't start x86_64 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/powernap/+bug/1186679/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
