I did that earlier today, update-grub, etc. I booted back up and had no issues for about an hour. I was here working on my Toshiba laptop and my Lenovo laptop just now. I was on my Toshiba and went back to my Lenovo, which had only been idle for about 30 seconds, and it had locked up. I copied the syslog once I got it fired back up again into this pastebin:
