I have spent some time trying to better quantify how often the problem reproduces in daily use with the raring kernel, and ironically I only experienced the problem a couple of times in a week now that I'm actually trying to reproduce it.
I have now switched to the 3.10-rc5 mainline build, and will see what happens. Unfortunately, due to the random nature of whether this reproduces or not, it will likely be two weeks before I will be able to conclude with reasonable certainty that an absence of occurrences actually indicates an absence of the bug. On the other hand, if the problem recurs, I'll be able to report back sooner. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1185838 Title: Mouse pointer corruption, radeon, dual-head To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1185838/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
