Btw, it seems as if any major upgrade to new Ubuntu release is reinstalling hdapsd despite being uninstalled before upgrade. Info above is from apport-collect -p linux 772273 although obviously no package named 'linux' is found... (Not sure if you rather preferred a new issue rather than reopening an old -- if so, then sorry again!!)
