Installing "linux-image-extra" does the trick. I noticed it was installed for 
the older images, but upgrading to -24/-25/-26 did not pull it.
Would be nice if I would not have to manually make sure the package is 
installed in the future. And a keyboard driver should perhaps not reside in an 
optional package.
