I tested the fix. Although I don't claim it fixes all possible memory leaks, the memory usage is substantially improved. Using a given set of tracks the leakage went from ~90MB to only 5MB or so (and it didn't increase past this value). However, if cover-art is activated, the memory usage can be worse, as it seems to load every image and keep it in memory. (This is minor though).
