I didn't realise that - I checked Ekiga but not Pidgin. mpt is right though, we need to work to ensure that our document doesn't overlap unnecessarily. That means including prominent links to system documentation where possible (Ekiga/Liferea), and online documentation where appropriate (Pidgin) [1]. I think the best way to proceed in this instance would be to help upstream to get their documentation into Yelp [2], include links where possible, and write "glue" material where it is helpful. [1] Note that if a user doesn't have internet access, they are going to struggle to use Pidgin... [2] It's likely to be less time consuming to do a $format->xml conversion that to rewrite documentation from scratch. -- Matthew East http://www.mdke.org/ -- Instant messaging documentation doesn't cover useful topics https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/128384 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
