Just add you dns IP's to your /etc/resolv.conf. You shoulnd't modify dhclient3.conf. Normally you shouldn't either modify /etc/network/interfaces as your netgear router should give dns IP's while you connect your computer to it.
You can try to start Feisty LiveCD to see if it works fine.
