Public bug reported: collier@Nacho-Laptop:~$ lpbug unity-lens-help-daemon Description: Ubuntu 13.04 Release: 13.04 N: Unable to locate package unity-lens-help-daemon unity 7.0.0 Compiz 0.9.9.0 metacity 2.34.13 Mutter is not installed
Many of the Unity lenses and lens daemons use up megabytes of RAM. For instance, unity-lens-help-daemon uses 20.5MB of RAM. Is it possible for the Unity developers to reduce the RAM usage of the lenses and lens daemons? It seems like the lenses and lens daemons should not require that much RAM. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: lens memory unity -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1196648 Title: Unity Lens Memory Usage To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1196648/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
