I had the same problem, and I went to freenode, #ubuntu and asked for help. It seems the postinstall script just fails at cleaning up.
A dirty quickfix is to open "grub-efi-amd64.postinst" in /var/lib/dpkg/info/ with a text editor as root and adding "exit 0" right after 'set -e' in the top of the file. Then just run "dpkg --configure -a" as root in a terminal. It worked for me, no idea if it'll work for anyone else. My computer did boot up normally before I got rid of the problem though. //Use at your own risk.// -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1178534 Title: error processing grub-efi-amd64 (2.00-13ubuntu3) in 13.04 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/grub2/+bug/1178534/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
