I'm using Firefox 22.0 on Fedora 19. I tried to log into a site typing a lowercase name. Auto completion offered both the lower case and initial caps version. But nothing I tried would let me get the lowercase name (tab, mouse click (on choices, or on other part of form), arrow key).
Jesse on #firefox suggested that I edit the saved passwords. I found that there was an entry for each casing. I deleted the initial caps version. Then all was well. It seems odd to me that even though both spellings were in the table. I could only access one spelling. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/480671 Title: Firefox auto-completes login fields in a case-insensitive manner To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/firefox/+bug/480671/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
