This is an example of the artifacts on chars, still happening running a kernel with the drm/i915 fix 'Only clear write-domains after a successful wait-seqno'. In this case we have a completely mangled 't' in firefox. Snapshot was taken with an handy phone so that the monitor pixel frame is visible. In fact, it is now apparently impossible to snapshot with prtscrn.
