When trying to install scipy and python-matplotlib, I get this error: E: /var/cache/apt/archives/python-numpy_1%3a1.0.3-1ubuntu1_i386.deb: trying to overwrite `/usr/lib/python2.4/site- packages/numpy/f2py/src/fortranobject.c', which is also in package python-numpy-dev This is on a freshly-installed Gutsy Test 3 install.
