Did someone already report this bug upstream?

Summary:
Kernels 3.9.11, 3.10.2 ang 3.11-rc2 *vanila* get stuck at "smpboot: Booting
Node 0, Processors #1"
All kernels were compiled with make oldconfig on a ubuntu 13.04 except for the
3.11-rc2 for which I have tried the to add "CONFIG_X86_INTEL_LPSS=y" on top of
make oldconfig.

With acpi=off, it crashes most of the time (read "always" this evening...) in
clockevents_config as reported in comment #7.
Sometimes the trace includes "smp_sanity_check" between native_smp_prepare_cpus
and APIC_init_uniprocessor.
