This is Xubuntu 12.04 LTS. This is a clean install of Xubuntu in June 2013. After package update from Update Mgr., Chrome and Chromium fail to launch.
chromium-browser 28.0.1500.71-0ubuntu1.12.04.1 google-chrome-stable 28.0.1500.71-r209842 neither run.
