deltha Thank you for your posting. After reading your posting I have installed the 3.10 and now on my Lenovo Q190 I can use WIFI.
The uname -a confirms that I have the correct kernel uname -a Linux charles-pc 3.10.0-031000-generic #201306301935 SMP Sun Jun 30 23:36:16 UTC 2013 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux Now, all I need to do is to make this kernel the default boot choice instead of the 3.10 rc5. For now I am choosing advanced options at boot up and then selecting the 3.10 kernel with the WIFI drivers. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1096989 Title: No wireless support for Lenovo IdeaCentre Q190 (RTL8188E) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/hwe-next/+bug/1096989/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
