Public bug reported:
My dialogue 'Services settings' (=services-admin) shows apmd (=Gnome Power
Manager) as activated but my Gnome System > Administration > System_Monitor >
Processes does not
list apmd. ps -A | grep apmd does not produce an output. pgrep apmd does not
produce an output.
(ps -A | grep acpid outputs acpid.)
** Affects: gnome-system-tools (Ubuntu)
