Please add the version of chrome that you are using. We are not responsible for outdated third party applications that are broken during upgrades. The latest version of chrome should work with 13.04. The latest stable version (aka the one aptitude would pick) is 28.0.1500.95-r213514. If this doesn't solve the problem try 29.0.1547.49-r216092 which is the newest beta build available.
