Dear Cristopher,
The model was a Toshiba NB100-10X which i do not have since then. The
problem as far as i remember was caused by a faulty interrupt of a laptop
battery (some chinese unicode characters appeared in the identifier string,
which the driver could not properly handle). Passing the -irqpoll flag
worked the problem around.
