Hi Christopher, Unfortunately for this bug, I'm not willing to continue to use the 3.2.* kernels at all (I've been happily using the 3.5.* kernels without any problems for months now). Trying to track down this bug when I couldn't workout the trigger, was an exercise in frustration. I still don't know the trigger, but I'm not being frustrated by anything related to this bug any more (including lack of sound from 3.6.*).
I hope you'll forgive me for not trying to track down the bug when things are working for me.
