That's not actually the relevant error-state, but an earlier non-fatal
one. If you look in dmesg you can see when that first error-state is
generated prior to the hang and clear it with "echo >
/sys/kernel/debug/dri/0/i915_error_state" and then attach the error for
the fatal hang.
