Please don't mark this bug as invalid. The fact that one of the people
it affected bought different hardware and is no longer experiencing the
problem didn't make the bug go away.

FWIW, suspend worked for me at least once with kernel 3.10.5, booting
with the 'noefi' argument. I haven't been able to reproduce it yet, but
it definitely suspended and resumed successfully once.
