Hi. I tried to make sense of the documentation about doing a "bisect,"
but I simply cannot understand it. So I think I will just avoid doing a
"bisect between Quantal and Raring, in order to identify the commit that
caused this regression." Still, the system works well enough for now.
And I have another computer that I can use to access e-mail and browse
the Internet. So I will just leave the system as it is until a future
update solves the problems.

Thanks,
Greg.
